Enjoy this fun clip titled, “Life After Death By PowerPoint with Don McMillan.”

Meet Common PowerPoint Mistakes:

  1. People tend to put every word they are going to say on their PowerPoint slides.
  2. Many people do not run spel cheek.
  3. Avoid excessive bullet pointing (The term “bullet point” comes from people firing guns at annoying presenters.)
  4. Bad color schemes (Avoid clashing background and fun colors.)
  5. The more slides you have in your talk, the less useful your talk actually is.
  6. Effectiveness vs. Data (The more data you have, the harder it is to read your slide.)
  7. Animation vs. Effectiveness (Avoid pointless motion.)
  8. The font you choose says something about you as a person.
